Salt glazed stoneware, a whimsical creature with a feathered surface, gnarled toes, and a thoughtful expression, in a high glaze, the cover with incised signature RW Martin + Bros London + Southall, one wing with incised signature MARTIN, mounted on a turned base 12″ high ( 30.4 cm ).
